City Pier Decking- Phase 3
00:28The City’s Capital plan included a three phased redecking of the boathouse piers with composite decking. Phase 1 (Pier 3) and Phase 2 (Pier 2) were completed in 2023 and 2024 respectively. The third and final phase (Pier 1) is planned for this fall. Bids for composite decking board were received on September 26, 2025, with the lowest responsible bidder being Knapp & Schlappi Lumber Co. at $59.75/board. The total estimated purchase quantity will be 475 boards at an estimated total of $28,710. This project was budgeted in the 2025 Capital Budget ($40,000). Additional lumber and materials are necessary as part of the project and will be purchased separately from this bid. It is anticipated that the project will be successfully completed under budget.
Center for Public Safety Management (CPSM) Fire-EMS-911 Services Assessment
01:33CPSM was commissioned to complete an assessment of the City’s Fire Department, EMS ground transport provider (Canandaigua Emergency Squad) and the Ontario County Emergency Communications Center (911 Center).
